Join us for the Teddy Bear Fund Drive 5K Run/Walk "Trick or Trot" on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10 am. Every year, the Indiana High School Student Government coordinates the 5K Run/Walk benefitting the Teddy Bear Fund Drive. Eighty percent of the money raised from the Teddy Bear Fund Drive goes to the pediatric ward of the Indiana Regional Medical Center, and the other 20 percent is given to Children’s Hospital. The 5K Run/Walk will occur at the Pavilion at Mack Park, 752 South Sixth Street, Indiana, PA. Pre-register by Friday, October 13 for the reduced rate of $15, plus you'll get the official race t-shirt! Go to http://www.iasd.cc/domain/594 for registration forms. Even if you don't pre-register by October 13, you can still send in the registration forms prior to the race. Walk-in registrations will also be accepted on the day of the race (October 28) through 9:30 am. Again, the race starts at 10 am. The 5K Run/Walk will be professionally electronically timed, but feel free to wear Halloween costumes for the Trick or Trot! ALL levels of runners and walkers are welcome. No matter what your skill level is, you will be supporting the Teddy Bear Fund Drive. Awards will be given in both men’s and women’s divisions for first, second, and third place overall. Awards will also be given for first, second, and third place in each age division. The age divisions are 9 and under, 10-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
