Free resource for supporting loved ones overcoming substance use disorders.

The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) has launched a Family Learning Series for family members, loved ones, and friends supporting someone with a substance use disorder.

This free video series can be shared by providers as a starting point for families to understand treatment and recovery, set healthy boundaries, support children when a parent has a substance use disorder, care for their mental and emotional health, and connect to prevention, treatment, and recovery supports in Pennsylvania.

Behind every overdose reversed is someone who had what they needed, when they needed it.

Through our partnership with Prevention Point Pittsburgh and NEXT Harm Reduction, Pennsylvanians can request mail-to-home naloxone — a service that supported over 6,500 people with more than 22,000 naloxone doses and tens of thousands of test strips this past year.

Our partners also supported more than 100 organizations working to expand access to overdose-prevention supplies in their communities.

This is what saving lives looks like.
