💡 : add a segment to your shower to delegate who will help out during the first few weeks!

- 2-3 weeks of meals

- running errands

- watching the baby while you rest

- caring for the kids (bathing, playing,babysitting/bus/daycare drop off)

- cleaning up!!!

Families and friends with all these skills, interests, and degrees…Use it for the goodness of your people ✨

If you don’t have that kind of support, save your coins or money from the baby shower to hire a postpartum doula. It’ll sooo be worth it. ❤️ Proper rest and healing is what you deserve .

Not a night nurse but a Postpartum Doula ! This is so real ❤️ those beginning months are so such a struggle mentally, emotionally and physically. It’s all for a good cause (or whatever 😅) but whewwww the postpartum period grows you up real quick.

I’m not sure how hiding those struggles from expecting families helps them.

Hire a postpartum doula! 🥰

with Mamas, hang in there. Some nights are ROUGH!!!! The lack of sleep is real and so are the effects!
