Marshall County, IN (May 26, 2026) - A motorcyclist is in the hospital after he hit a deer Monday evening. Police say the 67-year-old was riding his motorcycle north on Thorn Road, south of 3 B, just after 6:30 p.m. when a deer ran in front of him.

The man was thrown from his motorcycle when he hit the deer and was sent to the hospital by medical helicopter. His condition is not known at this time.

Elwood, IN (May 25, 2026) - Indiana State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Madison County that claimed the life of a 28-year-old man.

ISP troopers were called around 10 p.m. Monday to the intersection of IN-37 and IN-128 just south of Elwood on report of a crash involving a white 2015 GMC Sierra and a blue 2006 Suzuki C50 motorcycle.

A preliminary investigation shows that the GMC was being driven by a 20-year-old and traveling north on State Road 37 when the crash occurred.

Police believe that, for an unknown reason, the motorcycle failed to stop at a sign on State Road 128 and collided with the side of the truck.

The motorcycle was being driven by Noah Alberts of Anderson. The 28-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison County Coronerโ€™s Office. His family has since been notified.

Indianapolis, IN (May 25, 2026) - A man and a woman died Sunday night when their motorcycle collided with a small SUV. IMPD was called to the collision just after 9:20 p.m. Sunday in the 7500 block of North Keystone Avenue.

Investigators think the SUV was southbound and had a green light as it turned east toward 75th Street. That's when the northbound motorcycle hit the SUV near its rear passenger door. A witness at a nearby Walmart told IMPD that the motorcycle had passed the shopping area, which is south of the intersection.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle died at the crash scene.

A man and a woman were in the SUV. The man in the SUV received minor injuries, and the woman was unhurt. They remained at the scene. The IMPD captain said no one in the SUV was intoxicated. Their names were not immediately shared publicly.

Tippecanoe County, IN (May 25, 2026) - A late morning crash on Monday claimed one life and closed I-65 in Tippecanoe County.

Indiana State Police say just after 11:00 a.m., a motorcycle was traveling northbound on I-65 near mile marker 164 when the rider lost control, traveled into the median, and struck the cable barrier.

Despite lifesaving efforts, the rider was pronounced dead. Identity will be released pending identification and notification of next of kin. There is no further information to release at this time.
