Shoes are a million dollar industry, so let’s not burst anyone’s bubble and give a direct yes/or no here. If you found a shoe that works for you, great! If you made the switch to barefoot running, wow! If you have recurrent injuries, then we will first look at your mechanics, strength, and form and after those are addressed, then be able to make a recommendation on shoes fit right for you. A proper warm-up helps your muscles (and heart) prepare for the work they are about to do with running. Active stretching like lunges, air squats, heel raises, and butt kicks are great options to warm-up before a run.
