Bluem Herbal Bodywork Bluem Herbal Bodywork (formerly Blue Ether) is a massage and bodywork practice. Deep breathing, and occasional laughter is encouraged.

My goal is to help people live with less pain and stress using massage therapy, yoga, and mindfulness. Bluem Herbal Bodywork (formerly Blue Ether) is a massage and bodywork practice that incorporates elements of mindfulness and a touch of herbalism. It is a space of mind-body reconnection, a space where you can let down all your troubles for a time and reconnect to yourself. My ultimate goal, at least right now, is to own and operate a tea shop/massage practice downtown Indy. A space where I can still see clients, and also hold community based events such as herbal workshops, yoga/mindfulness classes, etc. The world could use another zen space. The spaces I utilize to see clients and work with the public are free from judgement, and hateful words/actions are not tolerated. Please, please, please, do your best to be kind.

Happy New Year! Reflecting on the highs and lows of last year has me looking forward to 2026.

My massage business continues to stay afloat, and on good months seems to even grow a little. I'm solidly teaching yoga classes part time and having such a blast exploring that. I even had a mentor for most of last year helping me to refine my massage therapy practice. These among various other highs from 2025. Confidence has been soaring!

As always my mind is churning away at new ideas to grow my business. My heart is so full for those who have been sticking around with me for this journey, and even more so at those who have been helping me keep my ducks in a row and not let myself veer wildly off course! You all are amazing! 💙

I'm looking forward to 2026! I'm happy to still be serving clients with massage and bodywork. Making time for massage can be tricky, especially when it gets down to the last minute. That's why I like to book people out for months at a time, even the entire year! It's not a contract, very low pressure, but still keeps your time on the schedule so you don't have to worry about it.

The cold has this unfortunate tendency to make our joints feel stiffer and harder to move. Don't let it win! Finding even small ways to stay moving can help keep the cold and stiffness at bay.

Do you have to attend a class at a gym to stay moving? Absolute not. Things as simple as morning warm-ups, mid-day walks, and stretching before bed can go so far to keeping your joints happy! 😄

You can also join my yoga classes! We just started doing Friday open mats at 6pm! It's kind of an open space for you to practice yoga at your own pace or collaborate with friends, and I'll be there offering advice and assistance as needed.

Body and mind are so interconnected. Giving your body a chance to rest gives your mind a chance to slow down. The brain needs rest time too! It's just like shutting down or restarting your electronics for software updates. Your mind and body need restful time to heal, clear out wastes, and strengthen their systems. All through the cold months I'll be collecting donations for IYG! Non-peroshable foods are top priority, and there's a handy list of accepted items above both donation totes. The locations are The Flow Space and outside of my massage office. All donations help those who are homeless and/or struggling for food. The totes are already filling up, and it makes me so happy! 😄
