Peace begins within. ✌️💖

Inspired by the Buddhist monks’ Peace Walk from Texas to D.C., Kirn, PT led a meaningful conversation and experience centered on how true peace starts inside each of us. We reflected on mindfulness, creating stillness, and finding calm at every stage of life.

Paws what you’re doing… it was a pup-tastic celebration at Hooverwood today! 🐾🎉

A big THANK YOU to our furry friend Kayla for spending her 4th birthday with our residents and bringing cupcakes for everyone to enjoy (and maybe sneaking a bite or two along the way 😉🧁). Her wagging tail filled the halls with smiles from ear to ear!

Carl’s sweet bride, Anna, surprised him with a beautiful poster of the two of them as they celebrate 70 years of marriage today! 💕 Married at just 18 and 21 right here in Indianapolis, they’ve built a lifetime of memories, laughter, and devotion together. Seven decades later, their love story is still going strong. 💍

Help us celebrate our February Employee of the Month, Dorothy, and our February Rising Star, Haylee!

Dorothy continues to shine with her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. Since joining the Activities team, she’s been doing a fabulous job connecting with residents and supporting her department. Haylee has made an impressive impact in a short time. Her bubbly personality, quick learning, and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities help set the tone for everyone who walks through our doors.

We’re grateful to have both of these standout team members at Hooverwood Living—thank you, Dorothy and Haylee! 💚✨

Join us this afternoon for our 2025 Memorial Service.

We invite families, residents, and friends to join us for our Annual Memorial Service on Thursday, January 29th at 4:00 p.m. as we come together to honor and remember those we lost in 2025.

The service will be held in person at Hooverwood Living and virtually via Zoom for those unable to attend in person. All are welcome, and we would be honored to have you join us in this meaningful time of reflection.
