Magnolia Angels in Indianapolis, IN is looking for one live-in care giver to join our team. At Magnolia Angels, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and other adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to deliver one-on-one care that enhances quality of life and brings home and joy to clients and their families.

Magnolia Angels has a virtual hiring process in place due to COVID-19. You can interview via Zoom and all our on-boarding documents are available online. There is no need to come to the office to apply.

We supply PPE to all Caregivers when working in our client's homes.

This position involves living with 4 client for a number of days each week. You will be provided a private room and with rest time and breaks. Shifts will be 48 to 72 consecutive hours per week. Responsible for companion care, meals, light housekeeping and errands. Room is provided and 8 hours of sleep per 24 hour shift is also provided.

Responsibilities:
Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, grooming, care of mouth, skin, nails and hair
Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises
Medication oversight and reminders
Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness activities, community involvement
Cooking, meal and snack preparation, measuring and preparing special diets
Shopping (grocery, household, other) and running errands
Transport to and from appointments, shopping and/or other activities
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Perform light housekeeping duties

Qualifications/Requirements:
Active and Valid CNA/HHA Certification
1 year of relevant work experience, New Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) graduates welcome!
Valid Driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
Non-smoking
Must Pass A Criminal Background Check
Must Pass A Drug Test
Must have a Vaild Indiana License
Proof of Insurance

COVID-19 Considerations:
We supply PPE to all Caregivers when working in our client's homes.
