Friends, Let’s talk about . Let’s be honest, not all pregnant stories are the same. In fact, many people struggle to conceive. It’s not something people wants/likes to talk about and I get it. It’s vulnerable, it’s affects you in so many ways. But the truth is, many couples struggles with and let’s be clear it’s not just the woman but too that is often not discussed.
Coming from non western country, which I’m sure many could relate, it’s often taboo to discuss especially & quite often the woman blamed for the struggle the couple is facing, and as it’s definitely not discussed enough. I’ve heard of so many stories as the struggle that women /couples have gone through and some of the stories comes from people very close to me.
Let’s normalize Thai conversation in our community. Let’s stop tip toeing around the conversation so we can get the education, resources and emotional support we need. I want to emphasize especially as , our faith keeps us grounded. Knowing that what you’re going through is a & we all get tested. Yes, it hurts, it’s hard and heartbreaking what you’re going through as a woman and a couple, but know through the endless tears, frustrations, the endless maybe even multiple miscarriage, and on and on … your Rab (Lord) is always NEAR, and you will be rewarded for every hardship. It’s His wisdom and though we may not understand it, continue praying for a blessed child, get the medical treatment if needed, do all that you could with still having deep and grounded Yaqueen ( certainty ) your Dua is being answered one way or another.
