Punxsutawney Phil recently predicted six more weeks of winter, but at Community Hospital East, our little NICU babies are already brightening our days. Say hello to R'ielle Faith Smith, our adorable 2026 New Year's Baby at Community Hospital East!

Born at 8:02am on New Year's Day, she weighs in at 6 pounds, 11.7 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. Congratulations to proud parents Barrett Keys and Rico Smith—R'ielle will be welcomed home by her two excited big sisters (ages 5 and 4) on the east side. Welcome to the family, R'ielle!
