With heavy hearts, we are sharing that Indiana Birth Center will be closing its doors effective Wednesday, May 20th, 2026.

Serving families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and community that has surrounded our center over the last decade.

We know this news is difficult for the families in our care. Every effort on behalf of our staff was made to prevent this outcome.

Our priority right now is ensuring current clients receive support, guidance, and continuity of care during this transition. Families with upcoming care or appointments will be contacted directly with next steps and resources.

Thank you for allowing us to walk beside you during some of life’s most meaningful moments. Your stories, strength, and support will remain with us always.

This is a day to honor midwives and a model of care that puts you at the center. Care that focuses on the whole person. Your choices, your voice, your journey into parenthood.

At a time in the United States where midwives attend only 12% of births, midwives continue to foster improved outcomes for mothers and babies.

Being a doula asks a lot of you.

The middle-of-the-night calls.
The plans you have to change at the last minute.
The constant “on call” feeling that never really shuts off.

The way you hold space for people in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

So much of what you do unseen. It isn’t always understood.
But it matters.
