Sarah Dang, LMHC, LSC

Sarah Dang, LMHC, LSC Struggling with trauma, anxiety, or the weight of loss? You don’t have to carry it alone. Let’s start the healing journey together.

I’m an Indiana-based therapist dedicated to helping you move through overwhelm and find your way back to calm. "We often view waiting as a delay, but what if it’s actually a season of cultivation? 🪴

I believe that the 'waiting periods' of life—those times of transition, grief, emotional pain or navigating trauma—are where our deepest roots are formed. It’s hard to see the growth when you’re still under the surface, but I am here to tell you: the harvest is coming. I blend faith-inspired wisdom with evidence-based counseling to help you navigate: ✅ Anxiety & Stress ✅ Trauma Recovery ✅ Life Adjustments ✅ Grief & Loss

My goal isn't just 'symptom management.' It’s helping you become who you were meant to be—standing in a place of joy, contentment, and true belonging. If you’re tired of waiting alone, let’s trust the process together. The fruit is worth the wait. 🍎✨

Some of the experiences that shape us most aren’t meant just for us. They quietly prepare our hearts to understand, support, and walk alongside others. Even the hardest seasons can be woven into something meaningful—forming compassion, wisdom, and a deeper sense of purpose.

✨ Inspired by Oswald Chambers

If you’re navigating a difficult season and longing to find meaning, healing, or simply a place to be understood, you don’t have to walk that path alone. I’d be honored to support you.

Joy is more powerful than we often give it credit for.

It doesn’t erase stress or pain—but it helps regulate our nervous system, builds resilience, and reminds us that we are more than the hardest parts of our story.

Small, unexpected moments like this matter more than we think.

If you’re struggling, don’t wait for everything to feel “fixed.” Start by noticing what brings even a flicker of lightness—and let that be enough for today.

If you spent your youth meeting the needs of others, it makes sense why now as an adult you aren’t sure who you are, what you’re good at or feel you’re “behind” compared to others. Let’s let go of comparison and spend time gently working towards developing you. It’s never too late to become who you were designed to be.

What is Complex Trauma — and why does it still affect you even if “nothing major” happened?

Complex trauma isn’t always one big event.
It’s often chronic invalidation, emotional neglect, unpredictable caregiving, or long-term stress.

Over time, it can shape deeply embedded beliefs like:
• “I’m too much.”
• “I’m not enough.”
• “I have to earn love.”
• “If I slow down, everything falls apart.”

As an EMDR-trained therapist in Indiana, I specialize in helping clients identify and reprocess these deeply rooted cognitive patterns.

Therapy isn’t just symptom relief.
It’s transformation.

You don’t have to keep managing symptoms.
You can heal the source.

If this resonates, follow along for more education about trauma, attachment, and lasting healing — or reach out to schedule a consultation.

Why does "doing the work" feel so heavy?

If you grew up in an environment where your needs weren't met—or where love felt conditional—you didn't just "get through it." You built a survival blueprint.

That blueprint might have helped you stay safe then, but today, it might look like:

The Inner Critic: A constant voice telling you that you’re "too much" or "not enough," or asking you "what's wrong with me"

Hyper-Vigilance: Constantly scanning other’s mood to see if they’re mad at you.

The Burden Myth: The deep-seated belief that asking for help makes you a nuisance.

The Truth: Your self-worth isn’t low because you are flawed; it’s low because you were taught to prioritize everyone else’s peace over your own.

Healing isn't about "fixing" who you are—it’s about unlearning the survival strategies that no longer serve you. You deserve relationships where you feel secure and a mind where you feel at home.

Ready to update your blueprint? I have openings for new clients. Click the link in below to schedule a consultation.

They say the best things take time, but waiting is rarely easy.

When I was naming my practice, I kept coming back to the wisdom in Leviticus 19. The command was simple but profound: when planting a fruit tree, you were to wait. For three years, the fruit was off-limits. In the fourth, it was set aside as holy. It wasn’t until the fifth year that you could finally eat the fruit.

Why the wait? Because the fifth year represents the harvest of patience, preparation, and maturity.

For me, 2026 marks my own "fifth year." It has been a journey of refining my skills, testing my experience, and finding the absolute best path to serve others. I didn’t want to rush the process; I wanted the fruit of my work to be worth the wait.

Welcome to Fifth Year. I’m ready to share the harvest with you. 🍎✨
