Still taking it all in… it’s been a rewarding week surrounded by passionate therapists. Grateful to have done well in competition, but even more so for the feedback, exploration, and learning experiences. I’m very appreciative of the organizers, judges, and fellow competitors who made this adventure possible.

Until the end of May, I will be testing out new Friday hours. This includes some evening availability. I also added a Saturday for Mother's Day weekend if anyone would like to take advantage of a weekend session.

👣Featuring clips from competition👣

Massage competitions are a strange idea to many. I wasn't feeling it at first. How can you judge something so personal, so subjective?

So, I tried it last year. I wasn't really prepared because I didn't know what to expect. I earned bronze in wellness and open (for my Eastern Freestyle). I wasn't planning to go back this year. I was really on the fence about it.

Then the Indiana championship added the barefoot category - which is newer. I wanted to represent my barefoot crew. We are less known and recognized by the public and even other massage therapists. I hope I made them proud. I went prepared and I brought home the gold. I will now compete in July at the AMC.

My goal is simple. Help barefoot become more recognized. Introduce massage therapists to different barefoot techniques. Make some new friends along the way. Maybe bring home a medal? 👣☺️
