🚨Dove House Needs Your Help‼️

As you saw in our recent photos, we are now in the middle of renovating our kitchen, dining room, and several shared living spaces to make room for 15 additional women in Marion County.

During the renovation, however, our kitchen is limited. That’s where we need your help to provide meals in the interim. Providing daily meals is essential to the recovery and stability of the women in our care, and this is an especially critical time.

To make giving easy, we’ve set up a Meal Train (linked below) where you can sign up to donate a meal. We also gladly accept grocery deliveries from your favorite local store of non-refrigerated breakfast and snack items.

Your generosity ensures that recovery continues one meal, one woman, and one new beginning at a time. Thank you! 🕊️❤️

Construction on the expansion at our Marion County facility is nearly complete, and we are excited to enter Phase 2: renovating the existing structure.

Demolition is officially underway in the kitchen, community room, and office spaces.

This milestone brings us one step closer to expanding our Marion County facility to serve up to 55 women each night—but we still need your help.

Second Helpings is continuing providing meals throughout the renovation; however, we need support with breakfast and lunch. You can sign up to sponsor meals for a day through our Meal Train link or make a donation directly on the Dove House website.

Thank you for your continued support as we work to expand our impact. ❤️🕊️

The data is clear: Marion County residents are facing mental health challenges at alarming rates.

Substance use disorder is often a symptom—not the root cause. And this data confirms what we see every day: cost is the number one barrier to treatment.

That’s why we remain committed to providing our services at no cost. With your continued support, we can keep removing barriers and expanding access to care. Will you stand with us?

Between hosting luncheons, completing a move, and supporting women on their recovery journeys across Indiana, we’ve been incredibly busy. But we couldn’t let Women’s History Month come to a close without celebrating this extraordinary team of women who serve women every single day.

Dove House is Indiana’s leading Level IV Recovery Center for women because of these women. They show up daily with open hearts, fresh ideas, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and a true passion for service. These are women who are making history.

We also want to extend a special shoutout to the many team members not pictured here. Across our three locations, nearly 40 dedicated staff members contribute their talents and compassion to make this organization strong and impactful.

We’re thankful for opportunities to collaborate with community partners on meaningful work that raises awareness of issues related to substance use disorder.

Last week, in partnership with Summit Performance Indianapolis, Dove House Peer Recovery Specialist Kristy Shene and current Dove Davenna contributed to the stories told in the one-act play Re-Entry: Building a Life After Incarceration and in the post-play discussion.

Many of the women we serve are justice-involved and face significant barriers when trying to rebuild their lives. Thank you, Summit Performance Indianapolis, for bringing this issue further into the light through art.

We are so grateful to Elira Health and everyone who attended our Celebration Luncheon and Dessert Dash in Dubois County this week. The desserts were beautiful (and delicious) and the support was inspiring.

We were so honored to attend Dove House’s event and be a small part of such a meaningful afternoon.

Dove House is an incredible organization that makes a real difference in our community by supporting women in recovery and helping enhance the lives of so many individuals and families. It was truly inspiring to hear the stories shared, feel the strength in the room, and be surrounded by so many people who clearly share a common goal: bringing hope, healing, and positive change to our community.

We are grateful for the work Dove House is doing and thankful to have been included in such a special event. It was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together with compassion, purpose, and a heart for helping others.
