❄️Dry Eye symptoms can worsen in winter due to low humidity, cold winds, and artificial indoor heating, which can cause tears to evaporate faster. All that extra time indoors on screens can further exacerbate irritation, redness, and grittiness. 🔥😵‍💫

Tips that may provide some relief:
-Use humidifiers to add moisture to the air 💧
-Wear sunglasses outdoor to protect against cold, drying winds 😎
-Use warm compresses to support tear glad health 💆‍♀️
-Follow the 20/20/20 rule when looking at screens for prolonged periods of time...every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds 🖥️

January is Glaucoma Awareness Month 💚
Glaucoma is often called the “silent thief of sight”—it can cause permanent vision loss with little to no warning. Up to half of people with glaucoma don’t even know they have it.
The good news? Early detection through a comprehensive dilated eye exam can help stop vision loss before it starts. When detected early, glaucoma can often be managed with medications, laser treatments, or minimally invasive procedures to help preserve your vision.
If you’re over 40, have a family history, or fall into a higher-risk group, now is the time to schedule your exam. 👁️
