Community Hospital North delivered more babies than any other hospital in Indiana for the eleventh consecutive year! In 2024, our caregivers welcomed 4,254 newborns and cared for 810 infants in the NICU. Verified by the Indiana State Department of Health, these numbers highlight a year of growth, exceptional care, and plenty of newborn snuggles. Thank you, Community team! One of our NICU graduates, Ryker, celebrated his 4th birthday by giving back to the Community Hospital North NICU where he spent 16 days as a newborn. Ryker delivered cupcakes to NICU nurses and brought gifts for four babies. His parents said this tradition is their way of showing appreciation for the exceptional care Ryker received and bringing joy to other NICU families. Happy Birthday, Ryker! We are honored to have you as a NICU graduate!

Say hello to sweet baby Lucas, our first arrival of the New Year at Community Hospital North! Born at 7:35am on New Year's Day, Lucas weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. Congratulations to proud parents Mason and Ashley Godby from Orestes, Indiana—and a special shout-out to Dad, who keeps us all safe as a security officer here at the hospital. Welcome to the world, little one!

Volunteers from the Community Hospital North Quilting Bee and Mudsock Quilters Guild have been working all year to brighten the holidays for our patients on the North Campus. This year, they made more than 300 quilts to be given to patients at Community Hospital North, Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, and Community Rehab Hospital who are spending Christmas in the hospital. Nearly 250 Mudsock Quilters spent the past year working on this labor of love!

Once again, the Indy Fuel delivered bags of kindness for our Behavioral Health patients this holiday season. The hockey team gave our patients LEGO sets of the Fishers Event Center, Fuel Christmas ornaments, mini hockey sticks, hockey pucks, gloves, and Nitro stuffed animals! Giving to our Behavioral Health patients is a holiday tradition for the Indy Fuel. Thank you for making this season brighter for our patients!

Visitor restrictions are in effect starting Monday, December 22 to help prevent the spread of respiratory infections, like the flu. If you're planning a visit at one of the Community Health Network hospitals or Cancer Centers, please ensure the following guidelines are met:
✅ No visitors under age 18
✅ Visitors are to be limited to patient’s immediate family or as identified by patient
✅ No more than two visitors at a time per patient
✅ Visitors must wear masks in patient rooms when requested
✅ Those with respiratory symptoms may not visit
