Congratulations Jackson Specht, Cook, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Jackson Specht joined us in November of 2024, starting as a server in our dining room and quickly developing close relationships with each of the residents. He soon found himself interested in cooking, often jumping in to help cook breakfasts, quickly having nearly each resident’s personal order memorized! The residents fully supported Jackson’s move to the cook position, cheering him on for success. One resident declared, “Best cook we have.”
Jackson is a dedicated cook with a passion for great food and genuine connections. He has a commitment to excellence with a warm, personable approach. The values he demonstrates go together with our company’s core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.
Jackson is currently attending the Roubxe Culinary Program, where he’s honing his techniques and expanding his culinary expertise. He takes pride in creating not just meals, but experiences. He says, “At every job I’ve had, I’ve loved interacting with the senior community.”
Colleagues describe Jackson as a pleasure to work with, calling him dependable and a true team player who approaches each day with a good-natured attitude. His positivity and reliability make him an asset in any kitchen. His supervisor often tells him, “You’re a natural when it comes to cooking,” and says, “It’s enjoyable to work with an employee who shows maturity and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.”
Jackson lives with his older sister and mother, along with their two cats and dog. Guided by his personal motto, “Treat others how you want to be treated,” he strives to create an environment that’s welcoming, respectful, and uplifting.
