How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pops?

According to studies done by students at Purdue University, it takes an average of 364 licks using a licking machine. Meanwhile, researchers at University of Michigan estimated about 411 licks with a human tongue.

Of course, the real answer might depend on your licking strategy… or whether you just can’t resist biting it! 😉

So now we have to ask… how many licks did our Westpark residents take yesterday while celebrating ? 🍬

The Waters is so excited to participate in Hearts Across America this year! If you live in a different state—or know someone who does—we invite you to send a Valentine to our residents.

Our residents absolutely love opening mail, and they’ll be tracking each letter as it arrives, pinning states on the map and celebrating the love coming in from across the country. 📬

Happy New Year! 🎉✨

While we didn’t stay up until midnight, we still found the perfect way to celebrate — ringing in the new year at 12 PM instead! 🕛🎊

We’re incredibly grateful for another wonderful year and are excited to see all that the new year will bring. 🥂

As we move through cold and flu season, help us protect our residents ❤️

If you’re feeling under the weather, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting until you’re feeling better. Even mild symptoms can put our residents at risk.

This includes:
🤒 Fever or feeling hot
😷 Cough or sore throat
🤧 Runny or blocked nose
🤕 General feeling of being unwell
