Senate Bill 250 is RACING ahead—cleared committee, now in Appropriations. If passed, intoxicating h**p like Delta-8 gets BANNED July 1, 2026 (NOT November)! This crushes small biz, jobs, and choices while Big Pharma cashes in.
But for low-THC products (under 0.3% THC, like CBD): You’ll need permits from the Alcohol & To***co Commission (ATC) to stay legal. Here’s the breakdown:
• Manufacturer Permit: $1,000/year, must operate in Indiana, buy h**p from licensed growers, background checks required (no major convictions in 5 years), over 21, and more. 
• Distributor Permit: $750/year, buy only from permitted manufacturers, sell to retailers, same background & age reqs.

In the last two years (2024-2025), excessive alcohol use claimed an average of 3,808 lives annually in Indiana – that’s over 7,600 Hoosiers lost to booze-related causes like liver disease, accidents, and more. 
Meanwhile, deaths directly from smoking ma*****na? ZERO reported cases. Not a single fatal overdose from cannabis alone in the state.

Hey Hoosiers, Indiana is missing out big time while our neighbors cash in on legal w**d!
Right now, twenty-four states have fully legalized recreational ma*****na: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington (plus DC and some territories).
These states have raked in nearly twenty-five billion dollars in tax revenue since legal sales started — with over four point four billion just in 2024 alone!
Some highlights:
• California → over six billion cumulative
• Washington → four point six billion
• Colorado → two point six billion
• Illinois → two point four billion
• Michigan → one point six billion and climbing fast
That money funds schools, roads, health programs, and more — without raising taxes on the rest of us.
Indiana? Still stuck with arrests for possession and zero revenue. Time to join the party and bring those dollars home for OUR roads, schools, and vets.
