James is a man whose life is defined by hard work, a big heart, and an unwavering devotion to his family. From his very first job as a hotel janitor right out of high school to his fourteen-year career in the dietary department at Methodist Hospital, James has always found satisfaction in service. Whether he was washing dishes or delivering meals to patients, he took genuine pride in his work and enjoyed every bit of it.

Family has always been the center of James’s world. Growing up as the only boy for a long time among six siblings, he shared a close bond with his sisters—a bond cemented by childhood memories of exciting trips to Kings Island. Even as a young boy, James was eager to help, often found in the kitchen assisting with family meals. That nurturing spirit carried over into fatherhood; he has two daughters and fondly remembers the joy of dressing them up when they were little.

For James, no day is more special than Thanksgiving. It’s the one time in the year when everyone gathers to talk, catch up, and simply be together. His practical nature also shines through in his financial habits; he is proud of the saving habit he picked up early in life, a discipline that has served him well.

When he isn’t looking out for others, James enjoys relaxing with his favorite action-packed shows like Chicago PD and SWAT, though his all-time favorite classic remains Sanford and Son.

James’s advice to the younger generation is as straightforward and caring as he is:
• Find something constructive to do with your life, like a steady job or a trade.
• Always listen to your parents.

James is a lovable, caring soul who truly believes in the power of hard work and family connection.
