Every day we’re inspired by the incredible things our Occupational Therapists are able to help our kiddos achieve. Every little action has meaning.

Using scissors to prepare for school. A swing for regulation. A game to work on grasp strength. ✂️✍️💨

Thank you, OTs

Every child develops at their own pace, but certain patterns may signal a need for extra support. These are some of the most common challenges families ask us about, which can be signs of autism or developmental delays. If any feel familiar, you’re not alone.

Remember, this is not a diagnosis, but rather behaviors to notice and discuss with your child’s doctor.

Celebrating our amazing Occupational Therapists this April! What's a child's occupation? PLAY! Our occupational therapists use play to help kids build the skills they need to thrive - from grasping a toothbrush to writing letters to navigating a sensory-dense classroom. A session might include: 🦖 Playing with food to encourage trying new textures 🏃 Obstacle courses to build strength, balance, and coordination 🍕 Play dough games to strengthen little hands for handwriting.

It may look like fun and games (because it is!), but every activity is carefully designed to promote independence, well-being, and confidence. A look into an OT session: https://hopel.ink/4bHC91M

Thank you OTs for empowering patients to thrive, overcome challenges, and build brighter, independent futures. 🌟👏

April is here, and with it, World Autism Month 💙

At Hopebridge, autism is more than a diagnosis. It’s a journey filled with growth, resilience, and moments that families never forget. This month, we’re honored to share what autism means through the voices of our Hopebridge families.

Because every story is different. Every child is unique. And every milestone matters.

Follow along all month as we celebrate, learn and lift up the incredible perspectives that make our community so strong.
