Sometimes it’s hard to make sure every person gets the recognition they truly deserve, but today we want to recognize our Assistant Maintenance Director, Diana.
Diana brings such a positive outlook to everything she does, and no matter the task big or small she is always there to help in any way she can, while somehow making it fun for everyone around her.
Last year, Diana had only been with our community a short time when she was tasked with creating a winning Indy 500 parade float for our community parade. Not only did she step up to the challenge, but her department brought home the win!
This year, Diana started planning far ahead of time. Her passion for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 inspired her to spend more than two months, day after day after work, creating a life-size Indy car for our parade. Using mostly cardboard and materials she could find, she formed, shaped, taped, painted, hot glued, and transformed simple items into something truly incredible. The amount of creativity, thought, and dedication that went into this project was nothing short of amazing.
She poured so much time, effort, and heart into creating this float for her department, and it was an absolute hit at our parade! Our residents and her coworkers were amazed by her talent and hard work.
Diana, thank you for being such an integral part of our team. Her vision was for the residents. She definitely lives by our mission of love, compassion and dignity. We are so fortunate to have you at the Creek, and we appreciate you more than you know.
