The mint family is taking over again — peppermint, catnip, lemon balm, sage — all strong, all spreading with purpose. You can’t stop them, only guide them. God made the mints bold so we’d remember that growth isn’t something to fear — it’s meant to be tended, not tamed.

Tiny violet seeds showing up — like little secrets tucked into these cute little pods, waiting for spring’s warmth to call them out. They remind me that beauty often begins unseen. God hides promise in small places so we’ll learn to trust what we can’t yet see.

Lemon balm’s growing full and fragrant — all light and happy vibes. Just brushing past it lifts the mood and brightens the day. God planted joy even in the leaves — a reminder that peace and gladness can grow quietly, right where we are.

Rosemary’s growing fine and feathery this season, yet its strength is unmistakable. It sharpens focus, strengthens memory, and reminds me that gentleness and strength can live in the same plant — and person. In rosemary’s fine leaves I see how our God weaves grace and power into one being.

The sage is smelling incredible — clean, deep, and grounding. It’s one of those herbs that seems to clear more than air; it clears thoughts. The scent of sage reminds me that God’s design is not just to nourish the body but to calm and clarify the mind.

Catnip’s showing off two tones this year — soft greens and silvers — and its calm is just as gentle as ever. It’s more than a cat treat; it’s soothing for people too, easing restlessness and helping sleep. God made even the quietest herbs to whisper peace into a noisy world.

Been simmering herbs — wildcrafted ones for coughs and sore throats. The kitchen smells sweet and earthy, and the first jars turned out beautifully.

I have extra this time, so if anyone could use some, I’ve got a few pint jars available — $35 each.

God’s given the plants what our bodies often need — I just get to be part of the blending.

Two colors of basil growing side by side — different shades, same help. Both calm the nerves, settle digestion, and add warmth to a meal or tea. God cultivated variety in the garden so we’d remember that purpose doesn’t change when appearance does.

Trimming back the peppermint that refuses to quit — strong, fragrant, and full of life. If only we could all grow with such persistence. Anyone want some free mint starters?

A surprise second bloom — Clover with its friends Dandelion & Violet shining bright in fall’s fading light. Little reminders that beauty shows up where it pleases.

Soaking up the fall sunshine while we homeschool — today’s lesson is planning next year’s garden for science. It’s amazing how much learning happens when we pause to see God’s hand in His creation. Every seed, every season, every bit of growth is a reminder of His perfect design. 🌱☀️
