No need to knead away the knot
Today's Self Care Tip
When you have a sore or tender area often it is best to treat it gently rather than trying to knead it away. I've learned of a easy and effective way to do this.
With the pads of your fingers or thumb, press gently on an area that is sore or tender enough that you feel the pressure but not enough to cause pain. If no amount of pressure is possible without pain, press gently on an area directly next to the sore spot.
Hold this pressure with making circles as large as the skin allows. Make 5 circles in each direction, clockwise and counter-clockwise. Repeat this process for the entire sore area as needed.
