Stem cell clinics exist in Indiana and it’s a shame that they are allowed to function. They prey on patients who unfortunately place their trust in the wrong people.
At the Men’s Health Center we tell people the truth and offer the best and clinically validated options. Unfortunately some don’t like these options and think because we don’t offer stem cell therapy we are not “advanced”. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite.
This article is a good read with the following portion quite accurate :
“The providers (of stem cell therapies) are usually, though not always, licensed doctors, but they often are working far outside their fields of expertise. They advertise on social media and in newspapers. They host seminars and online lectures. Many promote therapies that federal guidelines plainly state are not allowed”.
Clinics selling stem cell therapy have popped up across the country in recent years, despite little or no scientific proof that the treatments work. Yet for many patients desperate for care, these clinics offer hope.
