Annie Ruth Harris Randolph was born in Greenwood, Mississippi, to James “Nun” Harris and Annie Mae (Neal) Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents and two half-siblings.

Annie later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she attended School #4 (Mary Cable Building) and Crispus Attucks High School. Her faith blossomed at Greater Elim Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the Olivet Youth Choir. After high school, she was accepted to the University of Alabama but chose instead to embrace marriage and family. On May 13, 1963, she married Isaac Randolph, Sr., and together they were blessed with ten children.

Her spiritual journey deepened at Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church, where she received the Holy Ghost after hearing the sermon “A One-Winged Bird Can’t Fly,” emphasizing the necessity of both water and Spirit baptism. Under the leadership of District Elder E. H. Vaughn, Annie faithfully served in various ministries.

After experiencing the devastating loss of her youngest child, Gregory E. Randolph, Annie transformed grief into service. She worked with the March of Dimes, Salvation Army, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Nora Elementary School PTO, sponsored a child internationally, and founded G.E.R. Enterprise, a humanitarian outreach rooted in compassion.

Her professional life included work as a legal clerk, at the Indiana Girls School, Saint Monica Catholic Church’s After School Program, and as an independent Avon representative.

Though independent in thought, Annie remained deeply committed to biblical order. She supported her husband during hospital visits and later joined him in transferring church membership to Zion Tabernacle Apostolic under Suffragan Bishop Joseph D. Farris. She walked alongside him as he established and pastored True Life Apostolic Church.

Throughout her life, Annie testified to God’s faithfulness, believing worship carried deeper meaning because of its cost. Though her name may not appear in history books, she found peace in knowing God knew her name.

Annie was preceded in death by her beloved youngest son, Gregory E. Randolph. Annie leaves to cherish her legacy her devoted husband, Isaac Randolph, Sr.; her sons Ike Randolph, Jr. (Regina), Steve, Gary, and Vincent (Christine); her daughters Ailene (Jerry) House, Alethia (Malcolm) Watson, Wandola, Syreese (Shabazz) Branson, and Vivian (Shad) Morgan; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her half-brother James Harris; those who lovingly called her “Mom”; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 12:00pm at Kingdom Apostolic Ministries, 4900 E. 38th St., with visitation there from 11:00-12:00pm. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery
