Dynamic Music Therapy INC We provide music therapy and music groups for children and adults of all ages and needs. Dynamic Music Therapy, Inc.

provides quality music therapy services throughout the greater Indianapolis area. We work with individuals on the Medicaid Waiver, in addition to group and 1:1 services at local businesses. Our music groups include everything from instrument play, singing, dancing, and reading, to learning sign language and developing community through music therapy and wellness!

World Music Therapy Week Day 3: Who benefits from music therapy?

Music therapy is used in many contexts and can help people of all ages (children, adolescents, and adults) and from all walks of life. It can benefit different aspects of your well-being, including social, emotional, cognitive, motor, communication, and sensory skills.

Music therapy is person-centered, so each therapist tailors music therapy sessions to each individual that work with to suit their unique goals.

And... You don’t need musical skills or talents to participate and benefit from music therapy! It is open to everyone regardless of their skill level or background.

Happy World Music Therapy Week 2026!

Music therapy is the professional use of music and its elements as an intervention in medical, educational, and everyday environments with individuals, groups, families, or communities who seek to optimize their quality of life and improve their physical, social, communicative, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being (WFMT, 2011).

During World Music Therapy week, music therapists and supporters are encouraged to engage in activities that increase awareness of and advocacy for music therapy.

Our Story

Dynamic Music Services, Inc. opened to increase access to music therapy services in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. We provide services to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly. We believe music is for a lifetime. We partner will local agencies and work with individuals in the community. We primarily work with individuals on the Indiana Medicaid Waivers, but accept many forms of payment. We provide group and 1:1 services. Our mission is to increase access and education to Music Therapy. We provide quality music therapy services and work as a team to adhere to our quality of services. Dynamic Tots Music Classes are early childhood music enrichment classes led by board certified music therapists. Dynamic Tots Music Classes are for children under the age of 5 and their caregiver. Our classes include music activities such as music and movement, instrument play, singing, dancing, and reading/literacy skills.
