Endometriosis vs. Endometritis: Know the Difference

🌺 Endometriosis – Tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often causing pelvic pain, painful periods, and sometimes infertility

⚡ Endometritis – Inflammation or infection of the uterine lining, often after childbirth, procedures, or infections, and can cause pelvic pain, unusual bleeding, or fever

Both can impact fertility, but treatment is very different: hormonal therapy or surgery for endometriosis vs. antibiotics for endometritis

💡 If you’re experiencing pelvic pain or unusual symptoms, it’s always best to talk to your doctor for proper evaluation!

Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent disease” because its symptoms can be subtle and mistaken for other conditions. But knowing the warning signs can make a difference:

✨ Pelvic or abdominal pain
✨ Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
✨ Urinary urgency or frequency
✨ Fatigue or changes in bowel habits

❄️ It's a common misconception that using fresh eggs in an embryo transfer always leads to higher success rates. However, advances in egg freezing mean that frozen eggs can lead to equal or even higher success rates than fresh eggs — especially when frozen earlier in life.

Another advantage? Frozen eggs can also be genetically tested before transfer, helping identify the healthiest embryos and improving the chance of a successful pregnancy. 💜
