"For years, NAMI Indiana leaders and volunteers have heard families say the same thing: “I wish I had known about NAMI sooner.” Parents and caregivers, in particular, often express how difficult it is to find the right support and resources during a mental health crisis.
That’s why NAMI Indiana created NAMI in the Lobby—a program designed to meet families where they are, providing support, education, and resources right when they need them most.

Connection is a recovery support group program for adults (age 18+) living with mental health conditions. These groups provide a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope. Connection groups offer a casual and relaxed approach to sharing the challenges and successes of recovery and resilience. Groups are offered at no cost to participants, without an educational format, and do not recommend or endorse any medications or other medical therapies.
