Hello! My name is Carolyn, some may know me by my Maiden Name Blaize, or my married name Wolpert. I want to update everyone.

I received a kidney from a my friend, neighbor on August 6, 2025 and I am, and will forever be grateful for her selflessness. 💚

I worked hard, I prayed, I dreamed about it and it finally happened! My hero Jackie Nichols gave me her spare! On 8/06/25 I received a new lease on life! 💚💚💚

I had my 5 month post transplant check up yesterday and it went fantastic! Lab draws are now every other week and my next follow up doctor's appointment is in 3 months! So grateful to my donor Jackie Nichols and my surgeons and doctors...Drs Goggins, Lutz, Sharfuddin, and Cabellon! Thank you IU Health Transplant IU Health University Hospital and all of my family, friends, and fellow FB friends.💚🙏🏼💚

*Update*
I was just discharged from IU Health Transplant Clinic today! I just need once a month visits and a lab draw each week!🙏🏼💚🙏🏼Thank you Jackie Nichols and Dr. William Goggins for my new lease on life.

Update! Kidney Transplant on 8/06/25! was able to return to work PT today! Felt good to be doing something normal. Thank you Jackie Nichols 💚💚💚
