Emerson House was a wonderful, loving environment for seniors. We give God thanks for the 11 years it was open, but it was time for us to retire, and the pandemic made it inappropriate to continue marketing, so we closed at the end of June, 2021. Our residents and their families were wonderful blessings for us. We were able to get the residents fully vaccinated, so made them as safe as we could before closing. Two of our last 4 residents turned 102 in 2021, which is a testament to how healthy our home was. And a reminder that at 102 you can still have your mental faculties and participate in engaging conversation!
The building has been sold to a mental health organization who will be providing much needed transitional housing to individuals who have been through treatment who need 6 to 12 months to get their feet back on the ground and return as independent and self-reliant members of society. We pray for their success!
God Bless you, and thank you for your support of Emerson House!
