Stress works a lot like a ShamWow — we absorb and absorb and absorb until our system is completely saturated. And most of us don’t realize how “full” we are until something seemingly small tips us over the edge.

Letting go isn’t about pretending life is fine. It’s about giving your nervous system a chance to release what it’s been holding so you can breathe again.

If you’re feeling soaked through, stretched thin, or one more email away from a meltdown… you’re not alone. And you don’t have to wring it out by yourself.

You can download the free worksheet on our blog to help you slow down, reset your body, and finally let some of that pressure go.

Here’s to a little more lightness — one squeeze at a time.

💛 Grief creates tender spots—places that quietly surface when life reminds us of what we’ve lost.

Whether it’s the passing of a loved one, a breakup, or another ending, these spots are markers of love, not weakness.

Summer break can be beautiful—and completely overwhelming. ☀️
When routines shift, the mental load on parents tends to grow. And without support, that can lead straight to burnout.

As a parenting therapist and family counselor, I work with so many caregivers who are struggling to meet everyone’s needs (including their own) during these long summer days.

This carousel shares therapist-backed tips to support your mental health this season—so you can move through summer with more ease, intention, and compassion. 💛

In the blog you’ll learn:
✔️ How to manage your expectations
✔️ Ways to reduce emotional overload
✔️ Why taking breaks isn’t selfish—it’s essential

You deserve support too—not just your kids.

Forgiveness isn’t forgetting.
It’s a hike into unknown territory —
where healing means slowing down,
taking stock,
and choosing a new path.

You don’t need to have all the answers.
But you do need the right gear:
🧭 Self-awareness and care
🥾 Support of trusted others
🗺️ A sense of direction and goals

Forgiveness doesn’t erase the past —
It changes how we carry it. ✨

❣️Feeling Disconnected from Your Partner? ❣️

It’s normal for relationships to experience periods of disconnection. If you’re feeling distant from your partner, know that you’re not alone. There are simple and effective ways to rebuild that connection. Let’s explore some clinically-backed strategies.
💛💜
1. Create a Ritual of Connection 💬
Start with small, intentional actions that foster closeness. Whether it’s sharing a morning coffee, a quick text, or a kiss before leaving the house—these rituals strengthen the emotional bond over time.
✨ Consistency in these moments creates lasting intimacy.
💜
2. Share Tasks Together 🤝
When partners share responsibilities—whether cooking, cleaning, or tackling a home project—it fosters teamwork and mutual support.
💡 A shared task creates space for natural conversation and strengthens your connection.
🧡
3. & 4. Embrace Spontaneity & Unplug 🌱
Spontaneity doesn’t have to be extravagant. It can be as simple as taking a walk or enjoying a few extra minutes of quiet time together—unplugged from screens.
💬 This intentional time away from distractions can rejuvenate your relationship and deepen your bond.
❤️
5. Prioritize Physical Touch 💖
Research shows that physical touch is crucial for emotional and psychological well-being. Hugs, hand-holding, and even a gentle kiss can help regulate stress and foster emotional safety.
✨ Start with small gestures and build intimacy gradually.
