🔎 When bodies are shrinking, our focus shouldn’t be on who - it should be on why.

Undereating doesn’t just affect the body. It impacts mood, anxiety, critical thinking, and our ability to see the bigger picture. 🌎

When we’re dysregulated, it’s easier to turn on each other — and harder to challenge the systems that benefit from that distraction.

This conversation is part of our Season 1 finale: Ep 21: The Body Backlash: What Hollywood’s Emaciation Trend Really Signals.

Some holiday meals feel easy. Others feel loud, complicated, or heavier than they “should.”

🤎Wherever you’re at today, you deserve to feel supported, nourished, and connected. Food is meant to be enjoyed , not judged.

🍗Be gentle with yourself, check in with what you need, and remember: one meal doesn’t define you.

Ever feel like there’s a whole committee in your head… and none of them can agree on anything? 🤯

IFS (Internal Family Systems) helps make sense of those inner “parts” we all have—the perfectionist, the food police, the people-pleaser, the overwhelmed teen—and how each one is actually trying to help in its own (sometimes chaotic) way.

✨In today’s episode, we break down the basics of IFS in a way that feels real, practical, and supportive for eating disorder recovery. We talk through common misconceptions, the different types of parts, and how this model can create more self-compassion, less shame, and a more grounded relationship with food and your body.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re battling yourself internally, this one’s especially for you.

🧈If you’ve ever quoted Mean Girls, tried a 2000s “health” trend, or wondered why so many shows made hunger a punchline… this one’s for you.

💋We’re taking a nostalgic walk through early 2000s pop culture and unpacking how TV, movies, and celebrities shaped the way we think about food, bodies, and worth.

And honestly? Some of it is funny, some of it is cringe, and a lot of it finally makes sense when you see how deep those messages ran. 🥴

Come hang with us for a mix of reflection, education, and a few “oh wow… that was diet culture??” moments.

👏🏼 Episode 16 is live, and this week we’re getting back to basics with .rd

Before gentle nutrition… before holiday food stress… before any of it — we have to talk about access.

We dive into what food insecurity actually looks like, how SNAP fits into the picture, and why it’s impossible to focus on “balanced choices” when getting food in the first place is the real challenge.

We also share simple, realistic ways to care for yourself (and your people) during a season that can feel overwhelming on every level.

In the early postpartum days, intuitive eating can feel out of reach. Between exhaustion, recovery, and feeding schedules, it’s easy to forget your own needs.

💛 But nourishment in this season isn’t about eating perfectly—it’s about noticing what your body asks for and giving yourself permission to honor it.

✨ Swipe through for gentle reminders on intuitive eating in the postpartum season, and read the full blog by Michelle Butler, LCSW, .butler on our website! Link in bio.

💛 You don’t have to love your body to make peace with it.

This week, we’re diving into body neutrality with — what it is, why it matters, and how it might actually feel more freeing than “love yourself” messaging ever did.

We talk about the middle ground that body neutrality offers, how feelings (not just facts) shape how we see ourselves, and practical ways to build compassion toward your body — even on the hard days.
