MAPS Menopause Andropause Prevention Society

MAPS Menopause Andropause Prevention Society MAPS is a nonprofit organization that focuses on menopause prevention. We educate men and women on symptoms, hormone replacement, and more.

MAPS stands for Menopause Andropause Prevention Society. We are a nonprofit organization offering menopause prevention education to the general public. Though menopause is frequently cited as a "rite of passage," we feel strongly against it and strive to help our community learn more about their options. There are hormone therapies available that have no side effects, are easy to apply, and can be used by the majority of individuals. We have this information because our main venture is as a hormone replacement practice. For years, we measured hormones, but we were only allowed to test them. Because these hormones are bioidentical, there are no side effects to taking them. The medical art is getting the right balance. We get you set at a certain amount and replicate the hormone levels to when you were 35 or 40. Physically you may age, but hormonally you will not change. In the old days, if a woman became different after menopause, they were treated with antidepressants or anxiety medication. Ultimately, they were treating symptoms and not causes. We help you realize the true cause of your symptoms, leading to quicker treatment and relief.
