Veronica Clark admitted to Forest Creek Village 5 years ago. Here’s what she had to say about Forest Creek Village:

"My admission was to be a short stay. I went from can’t wait to go home to calling Forest Creek Village my home. I met so many friends, built lots of relationships and cant wait to see them everyday! I am now a fixture in the activities room greetings tours, visitors and families! I enjoy my daily routines rather its cooking, baking, going shopping at Walmart, enjoying our trips to Garfield Park, crafts, going out to eat as a group or putting together puzzles. It’s all fun to me and the other residents. We have a good team here! I enjoy living here! Forever my home!”

Today, the team witnessed a moment that truly took their breath away. During rounds, CNA Ashley Tyson brought Resident Gregory Strader to the piano and began playing while he sang. The music carried throughout the entire facility, lifting spirits instantly — and before long, the entire activity room was filled with residents singing along.

Moments like this are a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.
