KidsFirst provides international and domestic adoption placement services. We are a Hague accredited citizens throughout the country. We solve problems.

We are licensed in the State of Indiana and may work with U.S. We always adhere to the highest ethical standards in the representation of our families. We provide adoption services for the placement of children from Bulgaria, Ukraine, and the United States. KidsFirst Adoption is available to educate you in the complex process of adopting internationally and domestically. We pride ourselves on the personal attention we pay to our families before, during, and after the adoption process. You can trust us with your adoption because we will be there to address any problems that arise during the course of your adoption and to assure the success of your adoption. We provide domestic and international home study and post-placement services. We are Hague accredited and licensed in the State of Indiana.

If a mother is considering adoption, her priest or church leader is may be the first place she turns. Adoption is a life changing decision, and it often come with spiritual considerations.
Here’s what we wish church leaders knew about adoption.
Talking about adoption in your church starts with the way you frame it.
Lead with compassion, not assumptions. Every story is different, and adoption is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Center dignity. Honor birth parents, adoptive families, and adoptees by speaking about each role with respect and care.
Offer support, not pressure. Create space for people to ask questions, process, and explore without feeling pushed.
Share resources. When people feel informed, they feel empowered to take their next step, whatever that may be.
And most importantly, listen well. Sometimes the most impactful thing you can do is simply be present. 🤍

We’ve been doing this for 25+ years, here’s what we’ve learned. 💙

Every story is different. In nearly three decades of adoption work, no two journeys have ever looked the same. Every birth mother, every family, every child brings their own story — and every decision deserves to be treated that way.

Adoption is one of the most emotional subjects in the world. Whether it’s a young woman facing an unplanned pregnancy or a family hoping to adopt, the people we work with are on incredibly emotional journeys. That’s okay. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

The first call is always the hardest. And it’s almost never as scary as people expect.

Support makes all the difference. The families and birth mothers who feel the most peace throughout the process are the ones who always felt seen and supported. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Over 800 children placed. Over 25 years of showing up. We’re not going anywhere. 🩷

3 things we wish more people knew about adoption. 🩷

1. Birth mothers choose the family.
In domestic adoption, birth mothers are in control of who raises their child. They review family profiles and make the decision themselves — it is never made for them.

2. Support doesn’t stop at placement.
A good adoption agency walks alongside birth mothers long after the adoption is finalized — emotionally, practically, and beyond. At KidsFirst, that support is lifelong.

3. You don’t have to have it all figured out to reach out.
So many people wait until they feel “ready” to call. You don’t need to be. We’re here to answer questions, talk through options, and support you — no commitment, no pressure, no judgment.

If you’re considering international adoption, an agency’s Hague Accreditation status may be the single-most important factor to consider.

Hague Accreditation means that an agency is held to the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry, according to international law.

It ensures, among other protections, that adoptions are in the best interest of the child, and it guards against child trafficking, abduction, or exploitation.

KidsFirst International Adoption has been Hague-Accredited since 2007, and our accreditation was just renewed through 2030.

We are proud to be the ONLY Indiana-based agency with Hague Accreditation. We work hard every day to uphold these standards.
