💕 Congratulations and warm wishes to this new adoptive family! 💕

This picture was shared with us by a family who brought their baby girl home last week.

The biological parents had such a beautiful connection with their chosen adoptive family. It was heartwarming to see how much love the biological parents and grandmother had for their child.

The child’s birth mother chose a closed adoption, but her grandmother wants to receive updates. Both are possible with their adoption plan. It’s essential to work with adoptive parents who are open to the same type of relationship that the child’s biological family prefers.

It is such an incredible journey to see these relationships form. This little girl will have both her biological and adoptive family adoring her forever.

Tyler, a member of our KidsFirst family, is a ballet dancer with local company Ballet INitiative. Tyler was adopted from Russia before age one. She's stayed in touch with Inna and our agency throughout the years.

Next month, her company Ballet INitiative is hosting a happy hour with proceeds supporting KidsFirst Adoption Services and ArtMix. We hope you can join us!

KidsFirst Foundation was created to help meet basic humanitarian needs of children in orphanages, to promote the adoption of children without families, and to provide a network of support for families of adopted children.

Tyler, a member of our KidsFirst family, was adopted from Russia before age one. She has stayed in touch with our agency throughout the years and is now a ballet dancer with local company Ballet INitiative.

This weekend, Ballet INitiative is hosting Happy Hour For a Cause, where 20% of the proceeds will assist both KidsFirst Foundation and ArtMix Indiana. 
Join us Saturday, August 23rd, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 24th, at 2:00 p.m.

These brothers are in need of a loving and stable home.

KidsFirst is accreddited through Intercountry Adoption Accredidation and Maintenance Entity (IAAME) and is a Hague-accreddited international adoption agency. Details have been altered for safety and privacy.

These brothers are 10 and 12, and they are from Eastern Europe.

It’s important that siblings be kept together. We are looking for a stable family that is willing to go through the adoption process, travel overseas, and devote their life to them.

The drive home from this weekend's KidsFirst Adoption reunion has our heart so full 💕

Our reunion picnic is one of our favorite traditions every summer. Seeing so many adult adoptees choose to come spend their afternoon with us means a lot!

We always tell the families we work with — KidsFirst is here for you, for life 🤍 There's something so special about the community we've built with the families who trusted us with this incredibly emotional journey.

We're already looking forward to next year's reunion!

These siblings are in need of a loving and stable home.

David (age 11) and Addie (age 9) are currently staying in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. Usually, children have need for an adoptive family because of hardship or extremely difficult situations with their biological family.

The orphanage has shared a few details about the siblings:

“Addie is a good student and is liked at school and by her peers, teachers and educators and caregivers from the facility.

The school teacher says that David is very helpful, honest, and friendly and has made great progress in education. David can cope with negative emotions. He controls them, he has no problems with it. He can calmly tell his guardians what worries or saddens him. In the facility, he shows a lot of feelings, he needs closeness with an adult and wants to talk. He can define his emotions and talks about them honestly.”

Our hearts are full after reconnecting with one of our past adoptive kids who is now an incredible adult dreaming of starting a family of his own. These are the moments we cherish most.
