Here are a few tips on shoveling snow without straining your back.⁠
⁠
1. Bend from your hips and knees, NOT your back⁠
2. If possible, push the snow rather than lifting it.⁠
3. Avoid reaching too far - the more outstretched your arms are when you lift, the heavier the snow, placing a greater strain on your low back.⁠
4. Take rest breaks and be sure to stay hydrated⁠

When all else fails... buy a snowblower, hire the neighborhood kid, visit your favorite chiropractor to ease the pain. 😅
