This is a topic the is important to know and a HUGE massage myth that drives me crazy!! No, massage doesn’t release lactic acid from the muscles in any way and there are several reasons the myth is false. Here is a great article to help understand. 😉👍🏼

I have waited a long time for science to put this out and here it is. PLEASE stop foam rolling your IT band. The shocker for me was, ok not fully, that foam rolling isn’t what people think it is. WOW, lots of GREAT information here.
