I just completed today Saturday a 12 hour relicensing seminar (two 12 hour sessions a year required by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to maintain our chiropractic license) from 7:00 this morning to 7:00 this evening. It was great being with other doctors, most practicing in the Coachella Valley. Dr. Tong, DC, DACBR (Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology) gave us 5 hours of x-ray, MRI interpretation (10 hours required a year). Then an attorney came in and spoke on ethics in practice. The last 4 hours were a hands on presentation by a Fullerton, Ca. chiropractor, Dr. Michael Kelley. He is fantastic. To me he is one of the best chiropractors out there being this is my third time enjoying him go through with us so many wonderful adjustive techniques. Although when I see new or ongoing patients and give them my introduction letter and brochure and the fee for a treatment shows $70, I let them know that once the 2020 COVID outbreak occurred, I lowered my price for treatments to $50 per visit. Not many businesses lowered their fee (to help people out) for service or products since COVID. To date, now 5 years following I have continued to charge only $50. Truth is, I’m as busy as I want to be. All is good and thank you (all that use my services) for your patronage.

Today at the Indio location “Art and Ink Tattoo Studios” I stopped by to give a preventative treatment to tattoo artist/owner Chip Flores. Chip was on the Desert Chiefs semi-pro football team in the 2014-16 years when I worked the sidelines and now 10 years later Chip continues working out at the Indio boxing gym. Beginning at age 7 now with over 100 amateur fights under his belt Cayden Griffiths begins his professional debut. Held at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Ca. this Thursday evening June 27th Live on the DAZN network 5’10” Super Lightweight (140 lbs.) Cayden is totally ready to start his boxing career. When COVID came a few years back many people were put out of work losing their jobs. So following 55 days of choosing not to work myself awaiting a back order of gloves and masks I returned lowering my treatment fee from $70 to $50. Then came the higher gas prices for everyone and more recently the higher cost of food at the grocery store. To this day I continue to offer very affordable chiropractic care ($50) and deliver (what I’d like to believe) the highest level in expertise and professionalism. Dr. Gerald S. Pease, D.C..

This is Bakhodir Jololov (with a perfect record to date of 12 Wins No Losses with 12 Knock Outs) from Uzbekistan training at the Diaz (Joel and Antonio) Boxing gym in Indio, Ca. in preparation for his upcoming fight Saturday August 26th vs. Onoriode Ehwarieme (19 Wins 2 Losses) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You can watch the fight on ESPN. Bakhodir is a 4 time Asian Champion, a 2 time World Champion and a 3 time Olympic Gold Medalist in 2019, 2021 and 2023. Bakhodir is 6’ 7” tall and fights as a Heavyweight weighing in at 245 pounds. Wow!

Saw professional boxers and cousins Manuel Flores (15 Wins 1 Loss 11 KO’s Super bantamweight) and Grant Flores (2 Wins 0 Losses 2 KO’s Welterweight).
