SHOVELING 101:
With the winter storm soon approaching it's important that you know how to safely take care of all the snow!

❄️ Snow Shoveling = Back Injury Season… unless you shovel smart! ❄️

Before you lift that shovel, protect your spine:

🔹 Engage your core:
Pull your belly button gently in toward your spine and keep it there while you shovel.

👉 This shifts the work to your core muscles instead of straining your back.

🔹 Keep your back straight:
No bending or rounding. Maintain a neutral spine.

🔹 Hip hinge + bend your knees:
Move from your hips and legs — not your low back.

Your spine works hard for you all year — give it the support it deserves during snow season! 🧠🦴

Our Story

Grabski Family Chiropractic, 1639 Midland-Beaver Road in Industry, is dedicated to "chiropractic with care." Dr. Beverly Grabski, a specialist in the field of chiropractic, opened her office doors nearly 20 years ago with a desire to be in the health care field, with a focus on a more natural and holistic way of life.

Dr. Beverly Grabski earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1999. In addition to being named The Times "Best of the Valley" 2013-2019, she works with many area physicians. Her focus and goal is to help patients live a life with improved health, range of motion, quality of life with less pain and abnormal functions.

Grabski Family Chiropractic is a tried and true “chicken noodle soup remedy” that offers a nurturing, compassionate and homey alternative to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She also offers in her establishment hands-on manipulation and the activator instrument for patients who prefer no "crack and pop."

The office is open Monday through Thursday, as well as a half day on Saturday, by appointment only.
