Celebrating 30 Years of Service — Kristy, CPhT

The Medicine Shoppe is proud to recognize Kristy for achieving an extraordinary milestone: 30 years of service. Kristy began her career as a pharmacy technician at the age of 14 and earned her national certification in 2002. She has dedicated her entire career to The Medicine Shoppe, where her accuracy, professionalism, and compassion have impacted countless lives.

Kristy is deeply devoted to her work. She loves her job, cares deeply for the patients she serves, and cherishes the friendships she has built with her co-workers.

When asked for her advice after three decades in the field, Kristy said: “Always treat every patient as if they were your own family.”

I am a mother of two intelligent, beautiful, strong girls who are my greatest accomplishment! I have been a pharmacy technician since 2002 and I love the relationships I have built with patients over the years. If I could give my patients any advice it would be to finish the antibiotics! Too often we quit taking them once we feel better (I am guilty as well) but this can lead to antibiotic resistance.

Hi, my name is Kaley Maynard! I’ve been a pharmacy technician for roughly 2 years and a CPhT for a couple of months. I am also a full time student studying to pursue pharmacy which takes up most of my time, however in what free time I do have I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my pets. I love being a pharmacy technician because of all my close relationships I’ve made with all my patients and coworkers!

Hi, my name is Aliyah Stroud. I’ve been happily married for two years, and my husband and I share our lives with three dogs. In my free time, I enjoy going riding and fishing, as well as spending quality time with our family. I work as a pharmacy technician, a role I truly love because of the relationships I’ve built with both my customers and my coworkers.
