- At 641 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Normanna to near Skidmore to Cole Park to 7 miles west of Malaquite Beach to 11 miles southeast of Riviera Beach, moving east at 40 mph.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS
Interstate 37 between mile markers 1 and 27. US Highway 181 between mile markers 588 and 648. US Highway 183 between mile markers 648 and 668. US Highway 59 between mile markers 686 and 706. US Highway 77 between mile markers 602 and 658.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
