We forget sometimes...

Growth happens outside your comfort zone.

And check it out...sometimes that comfort, that familiarity is not the best thing for you.

Much like when you get used to smelling a smelly smell enough that you don't smell it anymore. So stop with your bu****it, friend (you know very well what it is... You see your shadow) and get it together.

One of the first things we learned in Reiki 1 is that the only pain is the pain of attachment. I am constantly in search of the feeling of home. So much that at times I cling to stuff that brings me comfort.

Emotionally I have spent entirely too much time worried about the negative things that have happened in my past. To the point that that used to be where my mind wandered when left to its musings and meanderings.

Be ready to let go. To release and deepen the amount of room that is available for Spirit to work in. We cannot receive it with our hands closed tightly around something that is not in alignment.

Hold things gently. You never know when they might want to take flight. You never know when you are going to be called to fly.
