We knew it was coming…but there’s just something special about seeing this magazine printed and in our hands. Being featured on the cover of VIE Magazine is an incredible honor — but what makes this moment meaningful is what it represents.

This past year brought one of the greatest challenges of my life. Surviving breast cancer strengthened my perspective, deepened my gratitude, and reminded me why I love caring for others every single day.

I share this not for recognition, but in celebration of overcoming — and in hopes that it encourages someone else walking a hard road.

And yes… my team might be more excited than I am. I couldn’t have done any of this without them.

Thank you VIE Magazine and Lisa Burwell for inviting me to do this incredibly special project, and for sharing my story so beautifully 🥹❤️

The Grinch made a surprise visit (but we must have been very good this year), as he brought us Bayou Baked cookies! Beautiful and delicious! We also had our ugly Christmas sweater and white elephant party. Amazing food by Krissy Guidry Wray and Wray Guidry’s Authentic Cajun Food!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our wonderful patients and our amazing team! We are so grateful for you all. We celebrated with an incredible potluck lunch and our “Cruise Director” Amber had us all playing the game “match the baby picture to the team member”. (Ended in a four way tie between Dr. Derek Raymond Fleitz, Dr. Lindsey Hoppe, Allison Rowell and Sarah; with Alli winning the tiebreaker!
