The power has been restored here already and everyone is settling in after some Chili Cheeseburgers for dinner! Hope everyone has a safe and warm night and we will update if needed..❄️🌨️

We have lost power here at the facility, which as you all know means the phones do not work either. We have administrative staff in the building keeping a close watch on the situation, our residents, as well as our staff. The outage has been reported with the facility being flagged as priority and Duke energy is waiting on this last small patch to pass before heading out to restore as fast as they can! We will update as soon as we know something here on our page and if anyone absolutely needs to reach anyone at the facility you can message through here and we will answer as soon as possible or if you have any of the admin staff’s cell numbers they too will answer what they can as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this and continue to care for your loved ones! ♥️

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation day and while we here at the Lake appreciate each and everyone of you who put your life on the line daily, we got to celebrate some of our local boys! Our residents continued their Christmas cheer this weekend with some special visitors from the North Pole and some wonderful Christmas Carols….Merry Christmas from the Lake!

Its been a busy holiday season here at the Lake with some Christmas cookie decorating and lemonade tasting, some snowman bowling, Christmas crafts, an advent Christmas movie “Punch Out Tree” while they enjoy their meals, as well as staff staying festive with some holiday attire! Stay tuned for our upcoming week where the Holiday parties begin…..🤶🎅🎄

Join us tomorrow at the Lake at 2pm for a special visit from Mark Perry and friends. We welcome anyone who would like to come visit with their family members or friends to share in what’s going to be a special reading of The Christmas Story. Our residents love to see their friends each month and this one is sure to keep them in the Christmas spirit 🎄✝️

Here at the Lake we want to inform you that, due to an unexpected maintenance issue affecting the front lobby of the building, we are temporarily redirecting all visitors to use the entrance near therapy. Signs are posted to help you navigate to the correct door! This change is necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents, staff, and guests while repairs are completed.
