Hello friends! Just wanted to hop on here and show you my new certification 🤩

We are still homeschooling but if you need to chat, please let me know. I wish no women felt lonely, especially during their Pregnancy/Postpartum season of life. Please reach out if you feel the need.

May God bless your journey of pregnancy and parenting!

Hello all.

I wanted to give some closure to any one who may have noticed my absence. And closure for myself.. I am going to send off my application for certification and then I will be putting this passion on hold. I’ve been called by the Holy Spirit to homeschool my son in the coming year- to be a completely present parent to all of my family. I’m not sure why I was sent through this journey of Doula-ing to have it end so abruptly but I am confident I will know the reason in the years ahead.

I will keep researching and training as I can find the time in hopes of pursuing this career again when God tells me to.

These past two years have been incredible. I’ve learned so much. I’ve met Mothers and families who changed me when I was in a dark place. I’ve learned that parenting wasn’t just hard for me. It’s hard and lonely for a lot of- probably most Mothers. Postpartum work is crucial in this day and age. So if you do need help, *still contact me* As a friend, I would still love to come over and love on your family. I do not want you to be alone.

This may sound harsh or demanding. But we need help. More and more Mothers are going through mental struggles and they’re committing su***de. The numbers are going up- not down. So as WOMEN -real, powerful, courageous women- step up. Women need to step up and help other women. Whether you get paid or let this become a career, or do it out of the kindness of your heart. Communities need to step up and support families as they birth or adopt their children. Find it in your heart to ask a new Mom how you can help her and then follow through with any commitments. Ask her if you can come over and hold the baby while she gets a few hours of sleep or go over and do her dishes, make her family dinner, or just LISTEN WITHOUT JUDGEMENT when she needs to cry and vent to you. And of course keep it confidential. This is what Doulas do for strangers. Can you imagine if Mothers got the support they NEEDED from their friends, families, and communities? This world would be a different place.

Thank you to my clients who trusted me with your families. It was truly an honor and privilege. You and your babies were/are so loved by me and will hold a special place in my heart.

To quote from Earnie Harwell “It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad. I’d rather say Hello. Hello to a new Adventure”.

My Dad clients are always super important to me! Dads can make all the difference in a child’s life and I try to make sure they’re off to a great start! 💙

FATHERHOOD AND LOVE.

Some people feel that you can't compare the love a mother has for her child to the love a father could feel for them.

They say that a woman's life changes, her body changes, and she sacrifices every little nutrient she has, to offer to the baby. And this is true.

What they don't understand is that a mother and father's type of love can be different, never inferior.

Both want the same goal. While the mother may be more hands on, the father supporting them both is just as important.

Some people don't understand that, within parenthood, there is no competition. There is only love and teamwork."

Sweet Raya 💜

PJ’s for Premies is such a cool project! I remember River being in the NICU and we had to buy a cheap 4 pack of premie pajamas to get her through to newborn clothes I had prepared. We were lucky to be able to buy what we needed. The NICU was low on pajamas then, too..

Consider donating new or gently used newborn and premie pajamas 💗

As this year comes to a close, I can’t help but look back and feel incredibly thankful for all I have accomplished this year. I’m only a few hours away from sending in my certification application! 🎉

I had so much fun this year with my clients and my own family ☺️

I will never forget the families who took the chance on a new Doula. May God bless you all in the years to come, especially 2023!

Now I look forward to meeting families in the coming year and serving them with my whole heart.

Bye 2022!

2023 is going to be a wonderful year full of sweet babies and growing families! ❤️

😍💙😍 Check out my new client! 😍💙😍

This is the little guy I get to serve next and he has unexpectedly ended up in the NICU. If you’ve been there, you know how sad it can be. My thought was that we can help the Mom and Dad get a few yummy meals other than hospital food!

If you’re able and you feel led to pay for a meal, please send a few bucks to the venmo account attached.

Help me love on this family and make sure they get a good meal in between trips to the NICU.

How many of you would be interested in a breastfeeding class in the next few months?!

What town would be easiest for you to attend? Does anyone have any ideas for a venue?

I’ve had a few inquiries on breastfeeding meetings but nothing solid, so if I could hold a class, I’m thinking it could be helpful and convenient for parents and fun for me! I absolutely love teaching about breastfeeding - I’ve even considered becoming an IBCLC once my kids are older ☺️

Did you know that once you put a deposit down for my services, you are encouraged to ask me questions? I love everything about pregnancy, birth, and Postpartum. I am here to answer any lingering questions you may have and don’t want to wait until your next appointment to get answered.

Not only have I went through a wonderful, interactive, yet intense workshop to learn more about how to be a Doula, but I have been pregnant 3 times and birthed 3 different ways- Epideral, No epideral, and emergency C-Section. I have the knowledge and experience needed to support Mothers in the ways they need.

I have folders prepared that include birth plans for you to edit, parent help sheets, hospital bag checklists, breastfeeding laws in the workplace, Postpartum Emotional Disorders checklist, etc.

I am looking to fill my calendar with a family who has a baby under 12 weeks in April and May of 2023. If my experienced and helpful guidance sounds like something you would find useful, contact me and we can set up a complimentary meeting to go over your expectations!

Hello beautiful Moms!

I’ve had a few more follows and likes so I just wanted to share a few facts about me and my services again!

I am a Prenatal and Postpartum Doula. I have one more family to serve and I will send in my certification application to be officially certified as a Postpartum Doula!!!! This is beyond exciting to me as this is LITERALLY MY DREAM JOB! 🤩 I adore ”my” Mamas and “my” babies that I serve, teach, learn from, and love on.

I’m first and foremost a follower of Christ. This does not mean that I push my views on my families I serve, but if my clients love Jesus, I support them spiritually in their journey of motherhood. Second, I am a wife to Josh. We’ll be celebrating 6 years of marriage in May 😊 I am a Mother to Kayla, Paige (bonus daughters) Tynlie, Riggs, and River. They are my life! I’ve been a stay at home Mom for 8 years now, but in April of 2021 I realized the need to educate, encourage, and support Mothers around me. This lead me down the path of becoming a Doula!

I’m getting certified through DONA which is a wonderful training program. I have all my paperwork ready to go and any potential clients are welcome to look through those.

I breastfed for a total of 4+ years and I am an advocate for breastfeeding, but I harbor no judgment to Mothers or Fathers who formula feed. I researched a lot through my breastfeeding journey, but I also took a class through DONA and I am considering becoming an IBCLC once my children are in school!

I am not a doctor. However, I am insistent that my clients get the attention and care that they deserve after growing, delivering, and nurturing their children. This issue is a problem here in America that I am here to help resolve. Mothers need better care and I’m ready to fight for you 💪🏻

Here is my website where you can learn more about me:

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out via my personal Facebook, this Facebook, or my website.

I love you, Moms. Keep fighting for yourself, for your children, for your family. You are loved.
