WE DO HAVE SOME RESIDENTS POSITIVE WITH COVID AT THIS TIME. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT AT THIS TIME UNLESS YOU FEEL ITS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. STAFF IS WORKING VIGILANTLY MITIGATING SPREAD. WITH THE HIGH RATE OF POSITIVE INFLUENZA AND COVID IN THE COMMUNITY, WE’RE ADVOCATING FOR OUR VULNERABLE RESIDENTS AND ASKING FOR VISITORS NOT TO COME AT THIS TIME. THIS PROTECTS OUR OTHER RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT SICK, AS WELL AS OUR STAFF TO KEEP THEM SAFE AND HEALTHY IN ORDER TO TAKE CARE OF OUR ROOST FAMILY. TELEPHONES, FACETIME, AND ZOOM CALLS ARE ALL STILL AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS AS USUAL.
STAFF ARE WEARING N-95 MASKS AT ALL TIMES, AND ANY VISITOR MUST WEAR A MASK WITHIN THE FACILITY, AND RESPECT THE WISHES OF RESIDENTS IN THEIR ROOMS FOR MASKING.
THOSE NOT POSITIVE, ARE NOT QUARANTINED. AFFECTED FAMILIES CONTACTS ARE BEING, OR HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. RIGHT NOW IT’S A SMALL PERCENTAGE POSITIVE. WE LOOK TO YOUR HELP TO KEEP IT THAT WAY.

SINCERELY,

A VERY APPRECIATIVE STAFF

Message to our caring Staff,

As you are aware, our community is currently experiencing an increase in influenza cases. While our priority is always the health and safety of our residents, I also want you to know that I am equally concerned about your health and well-being.

To help protect both residents and staff, please remain vigilant with the following precautions:
• Wear a mask as appropriate, especially when feeling unwell or working in shared spaces
• Wash hands frequently and thoroughly
• Help keep all common areas clean and sanitized
• Be mindful of symptoms and take care of yourself

Masks and influenza tests are available for staff, including tests you may take home for personal use if needed. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like these supplies.

Thank you for everything you do each day to care for our residents and for one another. Your dedication, compassion, and teamwork make a difference—especially during times like this.

Please stay safe and healthy, and reach out if you have any questions or need support.

Sincerely,
John A. Decker

**** ATTENTION VISITORS ****: 12/29/2025
PLEASE REFRAIN UNECESSARY VISITS IF NOT FEELING WELL.

(Symptoms: cough, sneezing, fever, headaches, sinus congestion, chest congestion, diarrhea, vomitting, plugged ear feeling, fatigue, painful joints…etc).

WE DO HAVE POSITIVE COVID-19, AT THIS TIME, BUT ARE NOT YET IN AN “OUTBREAK” STATUS. INFLUENZA IS CONTIUING, AND RAPIDLY IN THE COMMUNITY, SO PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY.
ALL VISITORS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A PAPER MASK IN COMMON AREAS AT THIS TIME.

**** ATTENTION VISITORS ****: 12/25/2025

With the high rate of positive Influenza in our area, please refrain from visiting if you or close family members are exhibiting ANY cold-like symptoms. Also, if you have been exposed to anyone recently with cold symptoms, or positive Influenza, please refrain from visiting at this time. People getting it are getting very sick, and seems to be spreading/hitting kids and teens really hard, per local school warnings this week on Social Media. With family Christmas gatherings, the spread rate WILL increase over this weekend and week. Please keep yourself safe and healthy.

(Symptoms: cough, sneezing, fever, headaches, sinus congestion, chest congestion, diarrhea, vomitting, plugged ear feeling, fatigue, painful joints…etc).

*** COVER COUGHS INSIDE YOUR ELBOW, WASH HANDS FREQUENTLY, AVOID TOUCHING FACE OR EYES, STAY HOME IF SICK ****. Please get your Influenza vaccine if you have not, it’s not too late.

You may be asked or required to wear a paper mask anywhere in the common areas of the facility per policy.…please follow Staff directions for the safety of our very special, and vulnerable Residents at RANIER ROOST. We depend on EVERYONE entering the Roost, to help protect, and keep the Residents safe.

12/25/2025: Currently we do not have any Residents or Staff with signs or symptoms of Influenza.
