Today the talented craft group transformed styrofoam pumpkins into stunning floral centerpieces! The pumpkins paired perfectly with the vivid colors of fall flowers, creating these lovely arrangements. It was fun watching the residents collaborate on their works and help each other out, making this simple act of flower arranging a joyful celebration of friendship and autumn beauty. The craft project today involved painting wooden leaves, and the results were gorgeous. Each leaf was transformed with vibrant colors and a touch of creativity that made them all special. Everyone had a rip-roarin' good time at our third staff and resident social. This month was a lively hoe-down with a Western theme! The event was filled with laughter, music, and great company as staff donned their cowboy hats, boots and other western attire, and residents had fun with bandanas and sheriff badges! Everyone enjoyed delicious s’mores roasted by Josh and Liz, along with "sarsaparilla", which added an additional cowboy touch. Some staff members did a little line dancing and staff and a brave resident tried their hand at lasso, showing off some hidden skills! The hoe-down brought plenty of smiles and unforgettable memories for all who joined in the fun! Until next month...Yeehaw! 🐴🏜

The resident garden this year produced a great harvest of tasty tomatoes, as well as some beautiful flowers. We are currently waiting on these huge acorn squash to be ready to pick. The garden is looking more colorful (and delicious) than ever — and we’re especially excited as we patiently wait for our acorn squash to ripen. There is something so special about watching our residents connect with nature, nurture their plants, and share the joy of the harvest with others. 🍅🌻

It was Timber Hills' State Fair Day! Food, fun, games, prizes, smiles, laughter and teamwork! Thank you to the residents who attended and to the staff that made it all happen. Creating Smiles and Enriching Lives is what it's all about! It was a great day to live and work at Timber Hills!
