8 weeks. Less pain. More life.

Sue is in that stage of life where a lot of people start to feel things changing…

More stiffness.
More aches.
Less energy.

And for her… it had become normal.

You can’t outwork a body that’s breaking down.

Last week our team at Inver Grove Chiropractic had the opportunity to speak with the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department .

We ran the presentation three different times so every shift could attend.

The focus wasn’t just fitness.

It was longevity.

Because many injuries and health problems in physically demanding careers don’t come from one big event.

They come from years of stress on the body.
During the talk we focused on three key pillars that support long-term health and performance:

1️⃣ Muscle mass
Muscle acts as armor under load, helping protect the spine, shoulders, hips, and knees during demanding work.

2️⃣ VO₂ max (cardiovascular fitness)
Cardiorespiratory fitness is one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and lifespan.

3️⃣ Sleep & recovery
If the nervous system never downshifts from stress, the body slowly breaks down over time.

The goal isn’t just to stay strong this year.

It’s to stay healthy, capable, and resilient for decades.

Meet our March Patient of the Month. Sam Schraber!

I chose Inver Grove Chiropractic because I was looking for a chiropractor close to home and kept seeing so many great reviews—I figured I’d give it a try! From the start, the office had such a welcoming, warm, community feel. I’ve always been into health and fitness, but over the years I accumulated aches and pains and was curious about trying chiropractic care. In the past, I had only tried massage therapy, which worked well, but I wanted to take my care a step further. After receiving chiropractic care for the past eight years, I can honestly say it’s made a huge difference. I have fewer aches and pains, and my overall quality of life has definitely improved. I absolutely recommend chiropractic care to loved ones—don’t knock it until you try it!
