I am happy, and also sad to announce my books for new clients via Mobile will officially be closing January 1st.

I will be picking up more hours at Brick City Spa, so if you are still looking to get in with me in a brick and morter location, please call the spa and request to be on my books through them, and I would be happy to accept you!

I have received an overwhelming amount of new clientele, and support from you all, and I absolutely can’t thank you enough for referring me to your friends, family, coworkers etc! It’s come to my attention, due to working two jobs, and never being able to say no to offering my services to new clients in need, I have been wearing myself too thin, and unable to keep up being just a one woman show. My clients deserve me to show up being my best self every session.

With that being said, if you’d like to purchase gift certificates for Christmas, that is still an option. Please be patient with scheduling upon receiving your certificates, gift certificate appointments will be priority around already exsisting apointments.

🔈SHOULDER PAIN EXPLAINED

Shoulder pain, often associated with impingement, results from compression or irritation of structures within the shoulder joint. Three main types of shoulder impingement are:

1. Primary External Impingement:
- Compression of rotator cuff tendons and the subacromial bursa between the humeral head and acromion.
- Common in activities involving repetitive overhead motions.

2. Secondary External Impingement:
- Related to shoulder joint instability or abnormal motion.
- Caused by factors like muscle imbalances, weakness, or poor scapular control.

3. Internal Impingement:
- Compression within the shoulder joint, affecting rotator cuff tendons and the articular side.
- Often observed in athletes performing repetitive overhead motions, such as throwing athletes.

Referred pain to the shoulder can stem from the cervical and thoracic spine:

1. Referred Pain from Cervical Spine:
- Due to conditions like cervical radiculopathy, herniated discs, or foraminal stenosis.
- Involves muscles in the neck (trapezius, levator scapulae, and rhomboids) and nerves (brachial plexus and cervical nerves).

2. Referred Pain from Thoracic Spine:
- Less common than cervical spine-related pain.
- Associated with conditions like thoracic disc herniation or nerve compression.
- Involves muscles in the upper back (trapezius and rhomboids) and thoracic spinal nerves.

Neural Involvement:
- Neural issues may arise when nerves from the spinal cord are affected, particularly the brachial plexus.
- Nerve compression or irritation along the brachial plexus can lead to pain, tingling, or numbness radiating into the shoulder and upper extremities.

Dear Clients,

I know it is a day late, but I got a new phone and was switching everything over yesterday.

Just wanted to take a moment and tell you all how grateful I am for you. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the support and love from my clients. Thank you for booking me for special occasions, weekly services, and booking me in general. I always try to go above and beyond to make you all happy.

I’m thankful for you, my family, my service dog Bella in training, and all of the big and little things and everything in between!
